1. Audio post-production & Pro Tools

• Introducing Pro Tools Extensions: A new plugin format that supports processes that can be applied across multiple tracks or even entire sessions to bring new, cutting-edge workflows to the Pro Tools environment.
• Enhanced Dialog Workflows: Penhanced tools for high-precision dialogue editing, ensuring pristine clarity before the final mix.
• Hardware and software integration:  Pro Tools and dedicated Avid control surfaces working together to maximise speed, reduce latency and streamline multi-format delivery.

2. Video production: Media Composer, NEXIS & Content Core

• Media Composer: agentic AI (“Ready to Edit”) that auto-syncs, transcribes and organises timelines before cutting, plus native FilmLight colour tools and PhraseFind AI AutoCut for rapid multi-cam editing.
• NEXIS storage: the new “Shared Projects” framework lets post teams collaborate securely using third-party or cost-efficient cloud storage tiers.
• Content Core: a cloud-native media data platform on AWS that acts as an intelligence layer over existing infrastructure, enabling deep semantic, natural-language and visual search inside media files rather than relying only on metadata.

3. Cloud-native collaboration

• Browser-based editing and review: build sequences, add effects and lower thirds, and manage review and approval directly from a web interface.
• Media Composer integration: a dedicated Content Core panel lets editors query cloud archives, auto-populate bins and stream proxy media without time-consuming local imports.
• Automated publishing: automated rendering and delivery across linear channels and web CMS platforms in multiple aspect ratios.
