Fender Studio (previously known as PreSonus Studio) seems to be going from strength to strength. As the quiet assassin in the DAW world, it is quickly emerging as a key player for musicians with its awesome features for what is truly an affordable price.
In this major update to its recently rebranded DAW, version 8.1 introduces several notable additions. Chief among them is the Studio Assistant, an AI-powered tool built directly into the software that helps users navigate the DAW by answering questions, surfacing tutorials, and providing quick access to documentation and support.
The update also brings a partnership with Moises Studio into the mix, adding a suite of AI-driven production tools including stem separation, vocal transformation, and the ability to generate backing parts shaped around a user's own music. Rounding out the new features is Vocal Tune, a native pitch-correction plug-in that removes the need for third-party solutions when correcting or manipulating vocals.
