The Mediaspec Audio & Video Expo 2025 (MAVE), presented in collaboration with the Royal Television Society (RTS) Scotland, has been hailed as a resounding success. Held on October 28th at The Village Hotel in Glasgow, MAVE drew more than 175 attendees, providing a crucial networking and discovery platform for industry professionals, students, and staff across the television, film, post-production, Games Industry, and Music Industry sectors.
The Expo was a hive of activity, offering attendees the rare opportunity to get hands-on with the latest innovations in audio, video, and storage technology from leading global manufacturers. The event programme featured live demonstrations and an engaging seminar series, a highlight of which centred around Colour Grading. A seminar hosted by Professor Dario Sinforiani featured some of the UK’s leading colourists, who captivated the audience by demonstrating the extraordinary visual transformations achievable through calibrated grading and immense talent.
Mediaspec’s Managing Director, Eric Joseph, underscored the local importance of the gathering: “This was a rare and valuable opportunity for attendees in Scotland and beyond to hear directly from and experience the tools being shaped by leading manufacturers. With the incredible turnout, Scotland rarely gets the opportunity to host an industry event of this scale right in our own backyard. We owe a deep debt of gratitude to all the exhibitors, volunteers, and seminar guests who made this day so memorable and worthwhile.”
