RTS Scotland Student Awards 2026 Celebrates Emerging Talent

The RTS Scotland Student Awards 2026 was an amazing success, held at St Luke’s in Glasgow and hosted by STV prestenter, Laura Boyd.

The event proved to be a fitting showcase for the extraordinary talents of Scottish students, many of whom are on the path to remarkable careers in television.

Filled with laughter, joy, and outstanding creativity, the evening highlighted the very best of emerging talent across the industry.

Mediaspec’s Managing Director, Eric Joseph, who also serves as Vice Chair for RTS Scotland,was on hand to present the awards for Best Sound and Best Editing. These were won respectively by Lucas Dickson and Ainsley White.

A huge congratulations to all the nominees and winners who participated in this annual event, where the exceptional quality of work truly shone through.
