Meris is no stranger to the world of hand-built, high-quality audio components. This Mercury7 is yet another ingenious piece of engineering. The analogue reverb module shows many similarities to the traditional plate reverbs of the 60s and 70s. The various algorithms range from plate to mighty cathedral sounds, and linking two Mercury7 units to then place them in stereo or surround setups is a particularly attractive option. The particularly low noise in the analogue signal path, which incidentally can be placed 100% outside the path (bypass), ensures a very accurate and true-to-life audio reproduction.

No load on the DAW
As the Mercury7 uses 32-bit DSP hardware, the module will hardly be a burden on your DAW, as its signal and controls are handled entirely by the Mercury7 itself. The Mercury7 is the world's first algorithmic DSP reverb in the 500-series modules. This means that the reverb possesses a number of algorithms simulated from real situations. These are fully adjustable via the controls on the front of the panel. For example, you can use the 'modulate' control to influence the speed of the modulation and the 'space decay' controls the amount of reverb.

Signal path and other features
The completely dry signal path offers unparalleled performance with the 24-bit AD/DA with 32-bit DSP handling all processing. Also, the Mercury7 possesses a so-called 'Intra-Tank Pitch Regeneration' that acts as a pitch shifter. Furthermore, both the high and low frequencies can be adjusted independently to fully adjust the ambience to your preference. The Meris Mercury7 is fully hand-assembled in Los Angeles, California in America.
